About Ty Pin Coed

Ty Pin Coed is a registered residential service that delivers support to up to four individuals with mental health and/or learning disabilities. The aim of Ty Pin Coed is to create an open, positive and inclusive environment where management and staff place the people we support at the centre of their own care.Ty Pin Coed can deliver tailored support to meet the needs of the person based on their individual requirements, and there is an office onsite that is staffed 24 hours a day.

On the ground floor of the property there are two modern ensuite double bedrooms, along with a staff sleep in bedroom with lockers, and a welcoming lounge area with TV and gaming system. A large kitchen is situated at the rear of the property which boasts a high quality finish with granite worktops and flooring, and leads to a dining area with patio doors overlooking an enclosed rear garden that has a lawned area and patio. The first floor offers an additional two large bedrooms with ensuite wetrooms, which offer plenty of scope to personalise the space. As with all of our services, the people we support are encouraged to add their own personal touches to their rooms.

Ty Pin Coed is located between Carmarthen and Llanelli in the village of Mynyddygarreg, on a hill overlooking the surrounding South Wales countryside. The market towns of Kidwelly and Burry Port are minutes away by car and there is easy access to the M4 corridor. Pembrey Country Park is also located very close by. The park has many activities on offer including golf, dry skiing, tobogganing, closed road cycling circuit and horse riding. The park is also home to Cefn Sidan, which boasts over 8 miles of sandy beach with blue flag status.
