Referral FAQs

We will work with you to find the suitable team that works for you, we recruit a wide variety of support workers and are very flexible in our approach. We will help you create a small core team of support workers.

Absolutely, when we come to meet you, an experienced manager or member of our in house Positive Behaviour Support team will talk you through what’s available and help you develop your package of support.

There is no charge for the assessment process; we are also able to negotiate with you around fees and payment plans. You can change your mind at any time.

The person who comes to meet you for the assessment will know where we have accommodation available. We will organise a schedule of visits with you. If you would like family or members of your care team to visit, we can also accommodate this.

Yes, you can come back at a later date. We can also offer – for a short time – for you to stay in one our other locations until a space becomes available.

Yes, the person who has written the assessment will give you some contact details so you are able to discuss your assessment. Alternatively, please click here and let us know, so we can call you back.

Here at M&D Care, we believe that our staff team need enough time to provide you, your loved one or the person you support care that is tailored and considerate. With this in mind, the minimum call time is 1 hour, we will liaise with you to find the right support times for you.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our communication; we will therefore keep regular contact with you and regularly review your needs, to ensure your support levels are right.

If there is a vacancy available, we are able to move very quickly. We will let you know immediately if we are able to help you. If we don’t have a vacancy, we will give a realistic time frame and work out a plan with you to move foreword.
