Work has commenced at Tegfan!

We are so excited to announce that work has commenced on our brand new specialist residential support service in Ammanford opening in the Spring of 2022. Once again we will be working with Thomas Homes West Ltd
Like Ynystawe Lodge and Ty Hiraeth, Tegfan will incorporate our flat-led model of support, which offers the use of positive interventions within individually designed environments. This bespoke model enables and supports people who have very complex and challenging needs within the principles of least restrictive practice. Accommodation comprises of two complexes, located across two floors with 7 self-contained flats on the ground floor with individual gardens and 6 self-contained flats on the first floor.
This new development will create new opportunities for many; including offering a high standard of service for individuals requiring support as well as plenty of recruitment opportunities.
Look out for regular updates in the coming months on this exciting new development.

We Did It! Our Team Ran The Llanelli Half Marathon.

Today we were proud headline sponsors and title partner of the Llanelli Half Marathon 2021. Despite the harsh weather conditions it was a fantastic event that brought the whole community together.
As a local family run business, we feel, now more than ever before, that it’s important to come together and support events such as these which promote good health and wellbeing. We see exercise as an integral part of physical and mental wellbeing, and this is something we actively encourage amongst our staff and the people we support.
Here at M&D Care we share similar values to the Front Runner Events, we are an inclusive company which supports people to achieve their goals and aspirations. We are passionate about our community and hope that this shared vision will extend to the wider community and beyond so that together we can achieve and overcome any barriers put in front of us.
Well done to all those who took part today, especially Team M&D Care who were running in support of the The Paul Ridd Foundation, a charity M&D Care have a shared connection with. The whole team were amazing!! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘
