Our Glanamman Apartments are newly refurbished supported living environments, made up of two complexes both containing six self-contained apartments in each, supporting a broad spectrum of needs. The accommodation comprises of a fully equipped modern kitchen, lounge/dining area, double bedroom and private bathroom. Our Glanamman Apartments can act as a step-down service for both the people we support in our residential services and new admissions.
Glanamman offers ground floor accommodation that can cater for physical disabilities, with wheel chair access and adaptable facilities to support the identified needs of the residents. We encourage social interaction within our services and in support of this we have communal areas accessible to all residents.
This supported living environment have been developed to strengthen our already well established model of support and bridge the gap between our existing services. Glanamman focuses on supporting people in trialling independent living within a safe environment. This model of support, offers a clear progression pathway, within a supported living setting. We offer an opportunity for self-development and maximum personal growth, regardless of complex health and social care needs. The flats provide an opportunity for staff to enable life skill development or coaching sessions. People can trial independence in a setting which has 24 hour staffing support. We feel that our flats enable people who want to live more independently, take those first steps to greater independence within a safe, risk managed environment.
Residents are supported by the service to build upon their skills for independent living and to manage their own tenancies. Support is on hand from staff for up to 24 hours a day, depending on need, and can be on a 1:1 basis if required.
Situated in the small village of Glanamman, our apartments benefit from it’s quiet location, whilst being close to shopping and leisure facilities in near-by larger towns.
