Dignity Action Day aims to ensure people who use care services are treated as individuals and are given choice, control and a sense of purpose in their daily lives.

Across our services, our staff and the people we support have been constructing their very own dignity tree’s – highlighting what ‘Dignity’ means to them individually.
One of our services, Croft House, created their Digni-Tree slightly differently (see below) to others this year. By purchasing a small tree, their aim is to plant the tree and watch their very own Digni-Tree grow and thrive bigger each year so that everyone can be reminded of Dignity Day. Each person we support wrote a tag with what dignity means to them, these were then added to the tree.
We’ve had a brilliant Dignity Action Day here at M&D Care, reflecting on what Dignity means to us and ensuring we as a company give the very best level of care.
